Oregon Home magazine
I did some illustrations for Oregon Home magazine for an article that tries to define what the Oregon home style is, it was an interesting challenge. I tried to capture some of the attributes of the Pacific Northwest aesthetic in the illustrations. Jon Taylor Carter the art director sent me some keywords and ideas that sparked lots of images in my mind: the temporary-ness of the home, culture of why not, organic “rooted” home, here are the results:
